Warranty
To make a warranty claim, please have the following information ready: E-Bike model, date of purchase, E-Bike serial number, and original order number from our website.
1. Coverage
Every ECOTRIC electric bicycle purchased on our website comes with an 18-month warranty against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship on its frame, battery, motor, controller, and display.
This warranty is valid for 18 months from the date of purchase from an Official Authorized Store.
2. Warranty Eligibility
This warranty applies only to the original buyer of the ECOTRIC bicycle and is not transferable. The original buyer is the individual who can provide the order number.
3. Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage due to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, accident, or other improper use.
- Installation of third-party components, parts, or accessories.
- Products modified from manufacturer’s specifications.
- Battery damage from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance, misuse, normal wear, or water damage.
4. Warranty Activation
To activate your warranty, register your bike within 30 days of purchase. All fields on the registration form are required.

5. Warranty Terms and Conditions
- Frame: 18 months from the date of purchase. Paint finish is not covered.
- Display, Controller, and Motor Assembly: 18 months from the date of purchase.
- Original Batteries: 18 months from the date of purchase.
- The battery is sealed and cannot be opened or repaired.
- Battery charge retention should not fall below 60% of its nominal capacity.
- Misuse, negligence, or attempts to open or repair the battery will void the warranty.
- General: The main warranty period is 18 months. Certain components or consumables may have different warranty periods or may not be covered.
- Consumables: Components subject to wear are not covered, including tires, inner tubes, brake lever, brake caliper, brake lines, brake pads, basket, wheel lining tape, light bulbs, LEDs, and fuses.
6. Shipping Damage
If any parts are damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately upon receiving your bike. ECOTRIC will send a replacement part at our expense.
7. Labor Costs and Shipping
The customer is responsible for labor costs to install warrantied components. ECOTRIC will cover the shipping costs of warranty parts.
8. Voiding the Warranty
The warranty is void if:
- The user manual's directions or recommendations are not followed.
- Damage is caused by a collision, accident, or careless parking.
- The bike is used in violation of any laws.
- The bike is not registered, or the order number cannot be provided.
- DIY repairs are performed on electronics.
- The bike is used abusively in off-road terrain, mud, snow, water, sand, or gravel.
- The bike is used as a rental unit.
- Damage is caused by natural disasters.
- Rust and/or paint fading is caused by heavy exposure to rain, hail, snow, or direct sunlight.
- The bike is overloaded beyond the recommended capacity.
- Damage is caused by nails, needles, broken glass, debris, sharp rocks, or other foreign objects.
- The bike is used for stunts, jumping, or racing.
- The vehicle is modified in any way.
- Unapproved components are used.
- Damage results from improper care and handling.
9. Component Exclusivity
Some components must be sourced exclusively from the manufacturer, including the battery, motor, main gauge cluster, controllers, LED headlights, brake drums or disc rotors and pads. Other components, like tires, tubes, saddles, racks, and baskets, may be replaced with market-ready or compatible products with prior approval from the retailer or manufacturer.
